Unused cloud credits need a plan.

A cloud balance can expire while your company is busy building something else. Start with a usage forecast and the award terms, rather than rushing into a promised resale price.

01

See what you can use responsibly

Map the remaining balance to planned workloads. Prioritize useful infrastructure or testing that was already needed. Spending simply to use a promotion can leave you with a recurring bill after it ends.

02

Check the restrictions

Read the grant's current service coverage, expiry, and transfer conditions. Document the account owner and balance. Do not assume credits can be assigned to a buyer just because the account permits an administrator change.

03

Ask about a suitable next step

If a transfer is permitted, prepare a redacted evidence pack and a realistic use window. Share the provider, amount, and expiry through the inquiry form. A review starts a discussion; it is not a guarantee that every promotional balance can be sold.
